Welcome! The Forsyth-Cumming Optimist Club is dedicated to “Bringing Out the Best in our Youth, our Community & Ourselves”. Established in 1976, this civic organization focuses on youth in Forsyth County.
The purpose of the Optimist Club is as follows:
- to aid in developing Optimism as a philosophy of life in our youth by promoting an active interest in good government and civic affairs
- to inspire respect for law
- to promote patriotism and to work for international accord and friendship among people
- to aid and encourage the development of youth in the belief that the giving of one’s self in service to others will advance the well being of human kind, community life and the world.

We invite you to meet with us for a complimentary breakfast and an opportunity to meet other like minded people in the community.
Meetings are held on the second and fourth Thursdays of each month at 7:00 am.
